1. Puppies need the correct feeding, improper food can lead to development of various bone anomalies. It is impossible to feed kids only with meat, this product contains not all nutritious elements which are necessary for the growing dog.
2. But also the surplus of vitamins and calcium needs to be avoided too, otherwise it can lead to violation of phosphorus-calcium exchange that in turn there can be the reason of the wrong formation of bones and curvatures of forepaws. The lack of vitamin fertilizing can become the cause of rickets, but this disease rather rare whereas consequences of a surplus of such fertilizing more serious and meet more often.
3. Gipervitaminoz leads to the wrong growth and digestion of some mineral salts, development of predisposition to a zavorot of intestines and expansion of a stomach. The diet of a puppy has to contain at least 29% of proteins. The lack of irreplaceable amino acids which the animal receives from protein harms immunity and the correct development of muscles and skeleton of a dog.
4. For a puppy the special balanced forage with the indication of a necessary dosage on packing is ideal. The dosage is especially important for puppies. Free feeding can lead to a reforage that, strangely enough, is more harmful than an underfeeding to puppies. The reforage will provoke too rapid growth that will negatively affect formation of a skeleton and can cause a number of diseases in the future. It is important that the growth of a puppy was not rapid and explosive, but normal and smooth, it contributes to the harmonious development.
5. When choosing a special forage it is better to give preference dry which contains much more nutrients, than in damp dog canned food. The damp forage approximately for 80% consists of usual water. And for the best storage a lot of sugar and salts which the dog not especially needs whereas in dry food of moisture of only 9%, and the rest – nutrients is added to canned food. It is necessary to remember that when feeding by a dry feed the puppy is in fresh water especially in great need.
6. It is necessary to pay attention and to addictions of the puppy. You should not feed a dog with food which is not pleasant to him and which he every time refuses. It is desirable to try several brands of qualitative forages, types of meat, fish and to choose that food which the pet best of all eats, growing old at the same time to make a forage balanced. Food which was not pleasant to a puppy can try to be given repeatedly not earlier, than in one-two weeks.
