1. For the general calculation of lamps use such formula: P=pS/N, p is the power of specific lighting, is measured in Watts on square meter (an average value - 20 Watts on square meter), S – the room space for which this lamp is calculated in square meters and N – the number of lamps.

2. Example: For calculation in the room measure length and width of the room. Multiply the received results (it is admissible, 3.3 meters in length and 4.5 meters width) among themselves and receive the area of this room (3.3 × 4.4 = 14.85 square meters). Increase this figure by 20 and divide into estimated quantity of lamps in lamps. For an example we will take 3 lamps on 2 lamps in everyone. In that case increase 14.85 by 20 and divide into 6 (3×2=6). Receive result which means that in this case 6 lamps on 49.5 Watts are necessary.

3. You can vary the power of lamps in each lamp, dividing the placement on several zones with different lighting. Total power of all lamps in the room should not be less than 297 Watts.

4. In some cases it is necessary to consider specifics of the room for which you make calculations of the general power of the established lamps.
