To prolong life cycle and not to spoil taste of coffee, the coffee machine needs to be cleaned periodically. Even the most purified water will leave on the device crust from salts sooner or later. And it, in turn, will lead to destruction of plastic and metal, increase in expense of the electric power, deterioration in taste of drink and other negative consequences.
It is required to you
- - instruction to the coffee machine;
- - means for decalcification;
- - hot water.
Instruction
1. The way of cleaning of the coffee machine which is called decalcification depends on its building. So you clean drop, filtrational and moka pots and coffee machines with the removable tea block by means of flowing water and normal cleaning agents, except abrasives.
2. Washing of the device after each use will prevent emergence of scum. But at its education use special means for decalcification. They are issued in the form of tablets or as liquids.
3. Fill in these means in the tank and add hot water, approximately 60-degree temperature. Sustain time specified on cleanser. Make 2-3 portions of drink (without the coffee) and in 5-10 minutes merge residues of liquid and wash the coffee machine with flowing water.
4. If in the device there is a lot of scum, repeat process anew with interval 5-10 minutes. Carefully rinse all system of the machine. Without function of autocleaning apply special means to automatic coffee machines.
5. Place it in the tank and fill in about a liter of hot water there. Miss 2-3 cups of water via the hot crane. Weld 2–3 portions (without coffee) and stop the machine for 5 minutes. Wait so far the cleanser will settle on all system. Repeat so you will not spend in the tank all water yet. Carefully wash out the tank.
6. For the automatic coffee machine with autocleaning function the procedure of washing same. Later include the system of autocleaning of scum and wash the working block with warm water. If your coffee machine has the system of self-cleaning, activate it. In fact, self-cleaning is run of hot water on system empty before and after preparation of coffee and also at inclusion and switching off of the machine. When function of self-cleaning is absent, banish one portion of water empty without coffee charge.
