Instruction
1. For creation of a wireless network you will need Wi-Fi the router. When choosing this equipment it is necessary to consider technical characteristics of your laptops. Find out types of wireless networks and data encryption with which adapters of wireless communication of laptops work.
2. Get Wi-Fi the router satisfying to these characteristics. Connect the bought device to the power supply network. Connect the laptop to the router via the LAN (Ethernet) connector, using for this purpose the network cable. Usually it is included in a basic equipment of this device.
3. Open the browser (Internet Explorer, Opera, Mozilla) and enter the standard IP address of Wi-fi of the router into an address bar. Before you the main menu of settings of the device will open.
4. Connect a cable of connection with the Internet to the router Internet (WAN) connector. Open the Internet Setup menu (Setup of network). Setup of this menu depends only on requirements of your provider. If you have no opportunity to execute it independently, then contact technical support.
5. Pass to the Wireless Setup menu. Fill out this menu according to opportunities of your laptops. I.e. select those types of safety and a radio signal with which adapters of the connected equipment can work as Wi-fi.
6. Save all changed settings. For their application reboot the router. Sometimes for this purpose it is required to disconnect it for some time from the power supply network. Do not click Reset located on the device at all.
7. Turn on the equipment. Make sure that connection with the server of provider is established. Disconnect a cable from the laptop and study the list of available wireless networks. Be connected to access point which you just created.
